Emily’s Candy Shoppe

The theme for Emily’s B-day party this year was CANDY!!!

I had been planning this for awhile and then found this blog Just Deanna who had done a Six Is Sweet party for her daughter.  I totally copied all of her ideas and Emily’s party turned out amazing!!

The candy garland was made out of little paper plates, toilet paper rolls and tissue paper that I strung together with fishing line.

I knew those jars would come in handy eventually :)  You don’t even want to know how much all the candy cost for the candy buffet.  We had Lifesavers, Skittles, Gum Balls, Runts, Mike & Ike’s and Conversation Hearts.  There was a TON leftover so I could have bought about 1/2 as much and been fine.

I found these candy themed notebooks and pencils at Michael’s.  Emily saw the silly straws at the grocery store and just had to have them.

These candy earrings were in her stocking from Santa…total coincidence.

For the craft the girls made lollipop magnets and decorated cupcakes.  We played musical chairs and there was pretty crazy dancing going on :)

Very sweet. No pun intended.

This gives me ideas for my daughter's sweet six birthday in Oct.

I love those journals. You can find almost anything if you look.

Great job. I am sure she will remember this party!!

Have a blessed day.
